A subsidiary of H&M, & Other Stories is simply one of my favorite online fashion shopping destinations. The clothing, shoes, and accessories are elevated, curated, and remains on level with H&M prices. Their current shoe sale as there's no better marriage of style and affordability.

Every year I look forward to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as it's the best time and place to build my fall wardrobe. It's quite the shopping windfall as savvy shoppers can get steep discounts on fall basics, fashion trends, and the best of the best coats, dresses, sweaters, and accessories from top designers like Theory, Rag and Bone, and Topshop. And if you have a Nordstrom credit card, you can pre-shop the sale during Early Access taking place now through July 17.
Below is a bevy of my favorites from the sale. From jeans, blouses, coats, to watches, I definitely have my eyes on day to night pieces that will work well with my daytime lawyer style and nighttime blogger outfit. Happy shopping!

Hailed as a long time cult favorite of makeup artists and gurus alike, luxury beauty brand Le Metier de Beaute has somehow been flying under my radar...until now. I recently chatted with the brand's Senior VP to find out why beauty insiders are obsessing over this brand. And you know what, it's all in the technology. The brand holds 28 patents as they work with a team of scientists to formulate groundbreaking innovations to sculpt the art of beauty. Perhaps the only brand with a skincare manual that reads like a biology book, the science behind the products is intoxicating and speaks to the logical reasoning lawyer in me. That and their packaging is so so fab.
Technology isn't cheap as Le Metier de Beaute products range from $25 for a lipstick to almost $300 for their legendary peel system. It's definitely not a beauty lifestyle brand but strategic purchases can go a long way. My bet is on their anti-aging creams, the tinted moisturizer that launched the brand, and their highly pigmented shadows and blushes. Next time you're at Neiman's, visit their counter, ask for a little touch-up, get a sample, and who knows, you might just discover a new side of beauty.

I wore my Otis and Maclain maxi dress, inspired by the romance of a very special Hallmark Signature birthday card.
