Project Angel Food's Divine Design-Charity Highlight

I consider myself to be a work in progress.  When it comes to work, love, fun and fashion, I never settle for the status quo.  After all, the world is constantly evolving and as integral participants of this world, we need to move, flow and grow with it.  So, aside from work, play and shopping, I'm also constantly seeking out opportunities for self-improvement.  One of those opportunities come in the form of volunteer work.

I truly find volunteer work to be thoroughly rewarding.  It's a great feeling knowing that your actions are directly impacting others in positive ways.  For me, volunteering helps to cultivate a sense of altruism and deflects self-centered motivations and thoughts.  One organization I'm involved with is Project Angel Food.  The organization strives to cook and deliver 13,000 nutritious meals each week to nourish the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses.

This year, I'm volunteer at Project Angel Food's Divine Design, a spectacular week-long celeb studded shopping extravaganza aimed at raising funds and awareness for Project Angel Food.

If you live in the LA area, please check it out this great event!
