Weekly Food Diary | Carnival Food & Soup Cleanse

This week's food diary of what I ate last week goes hops from carnival junk food at the Google summer picnic to a plant-based soup cleanse.

{Wednesday}
2pm: I have a late lunch at Verve after a gruesome hot yoga class at Y-7. It's more of a snack really as I munch on a Cliff's Bar, a granola bar, a bottle of Dr. Kefir's probiotic drink, and a canteen of David's Tea.

7pm: At the Air France event in Beverly Hills, I snack on Chef Ludo's braised lamb, fried, tapioca and other small bites before walking over to our  neighborhood Italian cafe Da Pascuale for some eggplant parmigiana.
10pm: Nectarine!

{Thursday}
12pm: At the annual Google summer picnic, I indulge in everything that I shouldn't be eating-pasta salad, caesar salad, beef brisket, mac n cheese, funnel cake, and dippin dots. I leave feeling thankful that I don't throw up.


8pm: In an effort to counteract the effects of lunch, I stick with a hearty bowl of Splendid Spoon's Beyond Chicken Soup and a cup of rice. It's delicious, filling, and soothing. I don't even notice that it's vegan. The plant-based soup company offers nutritious and filling cleanses so you don't feel like you're starving the entire time.


{Friday}
12pm: A minneola tangerine and a bowl of Splendid Spoon's Masala Khichri which is a high fiber, high protein soup with moong beans, okra, and spinach.
4pm: String cheese and persimmon.
7pm: Dinner at The Boiling Crab in Westwood where we pig out on shrimp, potatoes, sausage, corn, and chicken tenders.
10pm: 2 Diddy Reese white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies.

{Saturday}
12pm: A big Acai bowl as I need the energy. We're cleaning and assembling furniture today!
8pm: A vegan protein salad at The Cheesecake Factory in Beverly Hills and a few slices of their yummy whole grain bread.


{Sunday}
12pm: We head to Costco to pick up our membership cards which is definitely a rite of passage into adulthood. Of course, I can't pass up on their food court. It's been probably five years since I've had their polish hot dog but it's as good as my first one. I also split a berry smoothie with M.

4pm: A nectarine.
8:30pm: A shrimp chili salad from Baja Fresh with a side of their pronto nachos.

10pm: I give in to my sweet tooth and get a snowburger from North Pole which is taro snow ice and red bean inside a milky bun.

{Monday}
1pm: I make my own salad at Google-spinach, lettuce, artichoke, feta cheese, grains, and grilled hangar steak and have two small slices of pizza.

3pm: Bulletproof coffee with collagen. It's perhaps the best coffee I've ever had but sadly it's loaded with butter and oil which explains why it's so incredibly good.
7pm: A MP3 steak taco and half the tater tots at Komodo.

9pm: Fresh strawberries.

{Tuesday}
11am: A thinkthin protein bar on my way to a meeting.
1pm: Lunch at Estrella West Hollywood with beauty brand Ciate London where I eat half of a butternut squash sandwich, fries, and split a cheese pimiento dip.

3pm: Iced tea at Dialog Cafe in West Hollywood.
7pm: I finish the other half of my sandwich, down a bottle of Splendid Spoon Cauliflower Coconut soup, a nectarine, and a tangerine.
