{GBF Style How To} Pulling Off Sexy and Stylish

Sexy is one of the most tabooed styles in a fashion blogger's spectrum of wardrobe entities as it is consistently relegated to a dark corner stripped of all fashion credibility. And understandably so. After all, the generic visual connotation of a sexy outfit usually involves a skintight cleave bearing bandage dress and five inch black stilettos. Neither original nor interesting. But there can be more!

When it comes to reconciling sexy with stylish, less is always more. The centerpiece of this outfit is the dark wash high waist skinny leg Triarchy jeans. When wearing this body hugging denim style, I like a dark wash to keep the hips looking slim and to add a thin belt to accentuate and cinch the waist. I've tucked in a slinky nude tank, a deliberate color decision as the neutral palette plays up the minimalist look while providing a sexy "is she wearing a shirt or isn't she" color illusion. Killer sandals by way of bebe, the experts on sexy, and minimal accessories (including a statement making CC Skye Showstopper cocktail ring) complete the look.

With a few stylish tweaks and edits, you no longer have to cover your body in shapeless boho garb or shy away from fabric that may hug your body and expose your shape to prevent being blackballed by the style patrol. And now, it's your turn to show off your sexy style. Scroll down to  win a pair of Triarchy Denim!
