{GBF Life} Good, Bad, and Fab Moments of the Week

Last night, I fell asleep watching Mumford and Sons "The Road to Red Rock" concert on Showtime.  Drifting into peaceful slumber curled up on my couch serenaded by the amazing tunes of calming folk music while a gentle northwest breeze breathed quietly around me was situationally ordinary yet in-the-moment fabulous. Although that particular moment couldn't be captured, there are so many other good, bad and fab moments that deserve to be remembered and shared on a weekly basis. And that's exactly what I plan on doing on the same bat time, same bat channel.

{The Good}
rediscovering my love for the color pink, top knot, and sparkling jewelry. So chic, so Audrey, so feminine!
NCLA nail color "Not So Sweet" | JustFab bracelet ring chain
~drink like a lady to act like a lady. My libation of choice is almost exclusively champagne, rose, or prosecco.
~tempting candy tray at the Beckley boutique. I stayed away from the sweets and indulged in a new pair of Camilla Skovgaard heels instead
~a sweet gift from Vogue that looks like candy but definitely should not be ingested
~a bounty of heavenly budino at the FWSD private dinner
~working hard or hardly working? Pulling outfits for an upcoming shoot at Madison LA, one of my favorite boutiques in LA.
~Falling in love with the Nate Berkus home collection on my third visit of the week to Target
~getting acquainted with the newest residences of the GBF shoe closet. I think they'll fit right in. You can get them here and here
~spending two consecutive days at Chateau Marmont. Believe or not, it's actually a very cozy and quiet retreat tucked away on the steps of the Hollywood Hills
reliving my sleepover days co-hosting the Wet n Wild Slumber Party at The London. Well, more so revamping than reliving as the only similarity between this fabulous night and my humble sleepovers is the Wet n Wild makeup.

{The Bad}
Convincing myself I'd get the juice and nothing else and walking out with a box of donuts and no juice. Well played Winchell's.
Making my monthly donation to the city of Los Angeles

{The Fab}
Kicking back with the coolest Eastern cowboy on Father's Day!

Giving new meaning to "park hopping" as I played at Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, and California Adventures in ONE day! It was quite the emotional roller coaster as I freaked the eff out on Xcelerator, calmed down while strolling through the Knott's boardwalk, excitedly slurped on Dole Whip, happily hopped on Pirates of the Caribbean and the Star Wars Tour multiple times, proclaimed California Screamin' to be the best roller coaster in the world, and sleepily feasted on The World of Color, fireworks display, and Fantasmic. Many thanks to my theme park connoisseur for providing a park hopping day filled with breadth and depth.
