Personal Style Outfit-Living and Breathing

The other day, a few of my blogger friends and I were discussing how much our styles have evolved since the inception of our blogs. We all agreed we be caught dead wearing the outfits from day one. Owning a visual medium that captures moments in style keeps me on my toes as it forces me to revisit, evaluate, and refine what I wear. And perhaps that's why I infuse my posts with snippets of personal anecdotes and stories. This way, moments in life are also captured, stored, and can be relived hundreds of years from now when I come out of my cryogenic sleep. My blog is my evolving time capsule.

I wore this outfit to Vegas during MAGIC Market Week. The Motel leather motorcycle jacket is one of two things I'm "self pat on the back" glad I brought. It's a game changing piece that instantly adds edge when layered with any outfit-even with head to toe mixed florals. The other item is my Simple Skincare Protecting Light Moisturizer SPF 15. The dry Vegas climate is always havoc wreaking on my sensitive combination skin so I need a moisturizer that's light, hydrating, and shields my skin from the harsh UV rays. The lightly scented moisturizer fluidly melts into my skin providing all day hydration without expunging shine or oil.  It allowed me to confidently scurry from one show to another, one fashion gala to the next without worrying about breakouts, skin cancer, or just general icky skin. Get a sample and try it out.
