What I Wore to Milan Fashion Week

Without exaggeration, attending Milan Fashion Week has been the ultimate highlight of my blogging career. And to be perfectly honest, I never dared to think I'd ever get there. After all, Milan is the creme de la creme of fashion weeks and I'm just a fashion lawyer/blogger from LA. But life is full of possibilities and in the past year I've come to live by the motto: dream, believe, achieve.

My day at the Milan Fashion Week Day One shows passed in a blur as I was ushered from show to show while trying my best to navigate the busy streets of the fashion capital of the world. On my previous trip to Milan, I was a tourist leisurely strolling through the Duomo Cathedral. This time around, I was on a fashion mission hopping through town while trying to take in every single fashion moment. It was an incredible day that will stay with me forever.

Surprisingly, it didn't take me very long to decide on my MFW outfit. I wanted to bring LA style to Milan so my outfit is all about combining prints with interesting colors. I worked with Ann Taylor and picked out pieces from their fall collection in black, white and hot pink. I love that the colors pop in an unexpected monochromatic way.
