Fall 2012 Footwear-Splurge v. Save and a Giveaway!

Every well-rounded shopnista appreciates a great deal. After all, if we splurged on every single acquisition, there'd be nothing left in our bank accounts to splurge on!  So how do we decide when to splurge on the real deal and when to save on a steal? When it comes to shopping for shoes, my philosophy is quality over quantity. Most of the time. On average, a pair of shoes gets much more mileage and wear than a piece of clothing so it's important to pay attention to its quality and comfort. But sometimes I just don't feel like spending an exorbitant amount of money on something that's more or less an exorbitance to begin with.

So, I shoe analyze. If my designer shoe covet is flashy, super trendy, and the comfort level can solely withstand walking to the restaurant/party from the valet and back, then I'll explore more affordable options. But when it comes to classic styles with unique construction made from premium leather, I hand over my credit card and obligatory take the loss. After all, I'm a savvy lawyer who always expect a good return on my investment (I'm actually being sarcastic because I know nothing about managing finances).

Here are couple of fall shoe styles worthy of a splurge v. steal analysis. What do you think? Invest or divest?
