My skin sounds pretty similar to you. I hate the "dewy" glow I get on my face come 2PM. Mattifying primers, powders, foundation be damned. That stupid 2PM shine cakes my foundation regardless of what form it comes in.
I have found an emulsion that mattifies, but I'm not entirely sure it lasts all day.
