Fab Friday Brand Spotlight-Maje

Watch out Isabel Marant, there's a new French in town that's exuding undeniable Parisian chic. Maje is the brainchild of Moroccan-born French designer Judith Milgrom. Judith is a woman of action and ambition, but above all, a designer who knows that behind each of her creations lies a woman. The Maje wardrobe, inspired by her determination, blends the classic and the original with a focus on glamorous pieces and sharp details.

The Maje spirit is a resolutely feminine silhouette, both simple and bold. The name Maje is a combination of the initials of the names of Judith's loved ones. And loved it has been as its fall 2012 collection has been worn by celebrity chicsters like Emma Stone and Alexa Chung. The collection is a study in chic dressing-unfussy but memorable. My favorite is the Samy jacquard and leather biker jacket, a playful and wearable twist on the texture trend and a must have for any French fashion lover's fall closet.
