A Beauty Sunday

Last Sunday, I attended the Makeup Show LA at the Penthouse Suite of the California Market Center. I was in makeup heaven! The show was comprised of tons of individual booths from master beauty brands like Make Up For Ever, Stila and Smashbox along with cult favorites like Jane Iredale and Kissable Couture introducing. The brands performed makeovers and offered their latest products for sale (at fab discounts). In fact, a lot of the products being sold at the show were not yet available to the general public. My friend and I spent hours testing new products, getting mini-makeovers and educating ourselves on tricks of the trade.

My friend is getting a lip-over from AJ Crimson, celebrity make up artist and creator of Kissable Couture, a line of ultra luxurious and super moisturizing lip glosses.

Airbrush makeup is definitely having a moment right now. I love that it provides full coverage while leaving your skin feeling light and glowy.

not suitable for everyday use

it's a no brainer that every girl should have their own portable all-in-one makeup table, chest, mirror and lights!

I really liked Jane Iredale line of mineral makeup.The products contain all natural ingredients and provide a natural and soft coverage. It's also a great line for people with sensitive or acne-prone skin.

I learned so much that from all the helpful makeup artists and cannot wait to put my newly learned techniques and acquired products to use.
