Beauty + Style | Holiday 5 Minute Day to Night Look

This post is sponsored by Target. All words and opinions are my own.
Not to toot my own horn, but if there's one thing I've mastered by being a lawyer moonlighting as a blogger, it's quick and easy beauty and style transitions from day to night with absolutely no time to spare. Today I'm teaming up with Target to show how I recently went from work straight to my Friendsgiving dinner in just five minutes or your money back.

{Daytime Work Look}
On workdays, my beauty look is based on comfort, longevity, and neutral colors that serve as a versatile canvas to complement my outfits. I gravitate towards makeup and beauty products that are long-lasting, hydrating, and easy to apply as I'm always just five minutes away from being fifteen minutes late. As a fashion lawyer, I don't have to wear power suits but I still try to look somewhat professional, so shift dresses, warm coats, and fierce boots are always part of my fall staples.

Currently, I've been using portable beauty products that contain a punch of hydration like my Burt's Bees holiday gift set that includes balm and cream for lips, hands, and nails. I also love my travel-size Pixi Glow Mist and keep it in my purse so I can mist throughout the day, as the dry, windy El Nino air, coupled with the dry heated air in the office, is totally tornadoing my skin!

As for makeup, the e.l.f. Endless Eyes 100 Piece Color Eyeshadow Palette is pretty much all the makeup I could ever need. I love the brown and taupe shades and use the shimmery light brown shadows for eyes and the matte dark browns to contour the rest of my face. I take my Pixi Mattelustre Lipstick Quartette with me to work. The four subtle colors come in ridiculously cute mini tubes, while the lipsticks’ vitamins and hyaluronic acid coat lips with long-lasting hydration. They're compact so I can fit all four in my purse. During the day, I like to use the soft pink and coral shades.

{Nighttime Holiday Party Look}
For me, holiday parties are not just about getting dressed up and eating my way into a food coma, as I also love the holiday spirit of togetherness and getting to share the warm and fuzzies with family and friends. Recently, I hosted a Friendsgiving at Nick and Stef's with a few of my favorite blogger friends. Thanks to The Patina Group, we got to catch up and kick off the holiday season over multiple courses of decadence ending with what could only be described as an "I've died and gone to sugar heaven" dessert platter. For the deliciously indulgent Friendsgiving, I put on my party dress and glammed up my workday look in just five minutes.

A quick and easy way to add drama to any beauty look is with false lashes. My favorites are from e.l.f., as the lashes are incredibly soft, fluttery, and natural looking. As I waited for them to dry after I put them on, I pulled out my Pixi Mattelustre mini lipsticks and applied two layers of the dark taupe color for full and well-defined lips. Then I lined my eyes with NYX liquid eyeliner for some intensity. With just a minute to spare, I gathered my hair up and twisted it into a high bun for a polished look that glams up any cocktail dress.

With just a few beauty tweaks I was able to take my beauty look from the office to Friendsgiving at Nick and Stef's in five minutes!
