{GBF Life and Style} Fall Focus

With fall officially here, I'm going to miss complaining about the heat, going on my nightly froyo runs, and living pants-free in onesies like my Kova & T polka dot romper. I wore this outfit to the grand opening of the JustFab store inside the newly renovated Glendale Galleria a few weeks ago where Ms. Fab/Ms.President Kimora Lee Simmons presided over the soiree. I've held a strong affinity for her ever since seeing Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane. She's funny, intelligent, and owns her diva-ness. To me, "diva" isn't a negative noun as a true diva is simply a strong woman who exhibits authenticity, determination, pride, and perseverance. Having a closet full of Birkins and Louboutins or travelling with a thirty people entourage is merely the reaping of the fruits of their success.

With the year ending in a blink of an eye,  I'm ambitiously adding a few more items to my to do list. Going on a yoga retreat hovers at the very top as more than ever I need to reactivate my mind, body, and life. I also want to incorporate winter squashes into every dish I cook. The low cal veggie has the texture of sweet potatoes (my favorite starch) and quickly soaks up flavors. I can't get enough of that stuff. I'm also going to test my patience by following through on a new beauty regimen- using the Xlash lash serum to rehab my thin lashes. And lastly, I hope to think more like a diva.
