Although I brought a bounty of outfits, I found myself wearing this one over and over again on my road trip as I love its feminine appeal, the pairing of prints and colors, and its endless versatility. Over the years, my natural curiosity and propensity for walking the path less traveled have guided me to trying some questionable albeit interesting styles and trends. But at the end of the road, I'm standing in a retro inspired dress. And that's why Modcloth is my kindred style spirit.

When I first discovered the site a few years ago, I literally screamed.  Accessibility to highly curated vintage inspired frocks without having to rummage through flea markets and vintage store piles? Yes, please. I was so excited to visit their SF office and would've asked their pun making fashion writers for an autograph if they'd been around. Along with a beautiful views of the city, the Modcloth office is peppered with cool perks like foosball tables, ping pong tables, and themed office parties. Mad Men was their last (duh!). The ever-expanding company is spreading joy one purchase at a time.

Meet Julianne my outfit photographer. She works in the marketing department at Modcloth, exudes steeze, and is the office social butterfly. P.S. I want her necklace.
