{GBF Style How To} Wear The Crop Top For Fall

The season's first drops of rain splattered across LA yesterday which means fall is here to stay. Although I'm anemically afraid of the cold, I always welcome the first days of chill as the cool weather provides the perfect excuse to stay in, cozy up, and burrow in my fortress of blankets and pillows. It's also the perfect time to remix, rework, and reevaluate my wardrobe.

I wore my boohoo palm print bralet this past summer in London for a fun photo shoot in Piccadilly Circus. Paired with coral pink floral etched trousers and white hot accessories, the look was perfect for a warm day in London. After the trip, the bralet has been sitting front and center on my "must wear" rack eagerly awaiting another spin around the block. The sunny crop top is simply too cute to be shoved into my closet, into a place where the sun just don't shine.

So, I worked my quintessential summer piece into a fall outfit I wore to the Victoria Gardens Passport to Fall event I co-hosted a few weeks ago. The addition of a vintage mustard yellow cardigan, a midi skirt, and fall-bulous oxford booties transitioned the top from a tropical paradise to lush fall foliage!
