{GBF Life + Travel} NYFW Supporting Cast

I'm embarking on eight days of total fashion immersion, expected sleep deprivation, and sporadic food consumption. NYFW is almost here! With fashion week taking center stage, all eyes will undoubtedly be on the theatrics of fashion. The outfits will be the leading ladies as the gorging of style cinematics will engulf the half mile radius surrounding Lincoln Center and Meatpacking. But truth be told, it's really the supporting cast that make or break the show. For me, it's the "live without" travel items basking in quiet glory in the hotel room that deserve to be mentioned. Because without them, the show can't go on. Without them, I won't be able to survive fashion week let alone blog about it.
NYFW Travel buddies

{Umberto dry shampoo $12.99}I always rely on dry shampoo when I travel as the excessive running around always leave my hair looking limpy by midday. This is my favorite DS as it leaves no powdery residue, creates soft volume, and is compact enough to travel with.
{Umberto Roman Oil $12.99} I'm ecstatic about this oil as it has replaced the need to use any other conditioning products. A few drops on damp hair keeps hair frizz-free and ultra silky.
{L'Oreal Vitamino Shampoo & Conditioner Set $52} When travelling, I always bring my own shampoo and conditioner as hotel products just don't cut it. This is my favorite as it's deeply moisturizing. I feel like I've just stepped out of the salon.
{Shu Uemera Cleansing Oil $13} I use it to wipe off eye makeup. It's travel-size friendly, super gentle and provides great hydration for the sensitive eye area.
{Calvin Klein Downtown $80} I must wear an institutional New York brand at NYFW. Notes of velvety musk and woody florals fragrantly compliment the essence of New York.
{Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana $3} Fashion Week or not, I can't live without my favorite highlighter as it creates a sun-kissed glow that lasts day to night.
{Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder $68}The finely milled press powder naturally sets my makeup.

{Clarisonic "Opal" Set $185} My eyes get puffy and weird looking when I travel. This tiny device massages eye serum at sonic speed helping to depuff and normalize my travel eyes.
{Band-Aid by Cynthia Rowley $5} Like I said, it's a week of total fashion immersion so my blisters need to look chic as well.
{Foot Petals $20} Because flats are just not an option this week.
{Erin Condren Life Planners $50} Even though my life depends on my smartphone, I like to jot down fashion inspiration during NYFW as the process of writing keeps me mentally organized and sane.
{Acne-Free Wipes $6} I almost always wash my face before I go to sleep but I have a feeling fashion week will KO my skincare regimen. By the end of the day I'll be mentally and physically drained and may not get to my ten step process. If I need to take a skincare shortcut, I'll use medicated wipes to keep dirt and acne away.
