Fab Shopping Spotlight-Holiday Gift Ideas For Him and Her

Shopping is my favorite pastime most of the time. When it comes to holiday shopping, I always crack under pressure as the options are limitless while time is limited. So this year I'm starting early. To avoid shopping stage fright, I've amassed a long (and ever growing) list of gift ideas so that come December 24, I won't be nervously biting my nails frantically and deliriously trying to decide whether to gift a pair of Uggs or Spanx. In case you're looking for a few holiday gift ideas, here's a look at what's on my list.

{for her}
I saw the The Vintage Tea Party Book {$23.00} at the La Merch boutique in Silverlake and instantly fell in love. It's whimsical, cute and super practical. I mean, what girl doesn't love to throw a tea party? A Wrapped LA {$18} journal is literally a work of art as the covers are blown-up photographs of beautiful art pieces. Diaries are so nostalgic! When I was young, I wrote in my green Keroppi diary ferociously on a daily basis and drew charts ranking the boys in my class in order of cuteness. I love the Maya Brenner Grace bracelet {$88}. It's so dainty and feminine and make for a great layering piece. Georgetown Cupcake {$2.75 each} has arrived in LA! Rated as one of the best sweet treats in the US, I will definitely be picking up a few for my sweet toothed friends. They also ship all over the US. I've been using the Oribe Apres Beach Wave and Shine Spray {$35} for the past month and love the soft wavy results and am looking forward to sharing it with my fellow hair-obsessed friends. The Target x CFDA x Neiman Marcus Marc by Marc Jacobs clutch {$69.99} is eye poppingly perfect as a holiday gift. The entire guest designer collection will be available in Target and Neiman Marcus stores December 1. I may end up getting the House of Harlow 1960 skull earrings {$125} for myself as they're so edgy yet versatile enough for everyday wear. The Target x CFDA Proenza Schouler iPad sleeve {49.99} looks like a piece of art! The Crabtree and Evelyn "Evelyn Rose" body creme {$40} is a personal favorite. Yes, it's hydrating but the long-lasting and sweet scent is what keeps me replenishing jar after jar.

{for him}
Yes, I'm officially obsessed with the Target x CFDA x Neiman Marcus holiday designer collection! The rag & bone flask {$29.99} is so sleek I may get one for myself. Where do girls hide their flasks? The sweater from the same rag & bone collection {$69.99} is such a great deal and looks much more expensive than its budget-friendly price tag. It's usually quite difficult to gift sunglasses as different frames fit different face shapes but these Prada aviators {$290} look great on everybody. Marshall Headphones {$120} are so cool. I love the super soft ear pads and the hipster friendly packaging. I recently went to a friend's housewarming party and was quite impressed by his whiskey stones {$29.85}. They're tasteful and functional. A high quality leather toiletry bag {$61.74} make for a great gift as most guys wouldn't think to go out and buy one for themselves and zip lock bags are simply unacceptable for any guy over the age of 21. Most of my guy friends ski or snowboard and would definitely love the Bogner Ski Apparel pull over sweater {$749} as the wind stopper lining is highly functional against the frosty temperatures and the wool fabric will keep him dry and warm all season long.
