Personal Style Outfit-A Baroque Breakdown

Recently I co-hosted a fashion soiree at the 2b by Bebe Beverly Hills store. It was an all-encompassing night of elation as merriment found its way through every single fabulous moment. I caught up with friends animatedly giving them a day-by-day narrative of my fabulous Europe trip, indulged in one too many cupcakes from Dots, and played stylist to our party guests and 2b customers.

The day before the party, I went to the 2b store to pick out a hostess outfit. The store currently has a great selection of affordable pieces that are very much aligned with fall colors and trends so it took no time to pick something out. I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and wear something daring and eye-catching so naturally I gravitated towards these gold and maroon baroque embellished printed pants. It's an attention grabbing piece so I tamed down the rest of the outfit with neutral colors and clean lines. The Pinkyotto motorcycle jacket and Ted Baker aviators elicit a touch of modern edge juxtaposing the gilded opulence of my bottoms.

It's easy to wear the pants to work or to other non-fashion events. Simply pair it with an oversized dark colored sweater and simple black pumps. If the print is too color-popping for you, I've included a few options at the bottom of the post that are a bit more muted but still exude baroquian opulent! The prices are great so you won't have to go broke for baroque.
