Personal Style [Venice Beach Boho to Hollywood Glam In One Step]

When a day is packed with marathon meetings and a bundle of evening events, figuring out what to wear becomes a burden and source of stress. On those days, I opt to wear something that can be dressed up or down with a few key accessory changes so that I can keep my focus on getting through the manic day.

Today happens to be sheer mania. I'm in meetings all day followed by dinner with a gal pal in Hollywood, den.m. bar's summer soiree at an art gallery in Downtown LA, and then back to Hollywood for a celeb studded red carpet party. The good news-everything on the schedule is fashion/entertainment related so I don't need to dress too formal or lawyer-like. The bad news-I have to get through EVERYTHING on the schedule. For my meetings, I want to look put together, comfortable, but still fashion inspired. So, I'm channeling Venice Beach's boho energy into my day look. A ruffling white summer dress by Odylyne, a silvery belt from Rory Beca and beyond gorgeous jewelry from Tacori serve as today's outfit pillars.

For my night of play, I want to infuse some Hollywood glamour into my outfit. So, I'm switching out the roomy Louis Vuitton cross body satchel and my walking Loubs for pops of neon in the form of a BCBG python clutch and color popping wedges. I'm keeping my Tacori baubles as they add an air of elegance to the outfit and because they absolutely need to be on the red carpet.

The transformative power of accessories is vast, wonderful and keeps me sane and in working order!
