Staying Studious at The Library Hotel Manhattan

One of New York City's defining qualities is the thriving boutique hotel scene. Defined by its intimate, attractive and luxurious environment, these hotels also provide personalized accommodation and services that one may not find at large chain hotels. Copious clusters of boutique hotels can be found all over Manhattan and I'm fortunate enough to be staying at one of the best in the city.

The Library Hotel is one of Midtown Manhattan's most celebrated concept luxury boutique hotels. Fashioned from a landmark 1900 brick and terra cotta structure, the Library Hotel in New York is seeped in modern elegance. Its amazing staff provide a thought provoking experience to sophisticated Midtown Manhattan leisure and business travelers with a passion for culture and individual expression. Each of the ten guestroom floors at the Library Hotel in New York City are dedicated to one of the ten major categories of the Dewey Decimal System: Social Sciences, Literature, Languages, History, Math & Science, General Knowledge, Technology, Philosophy, The Arts and Religion. Very cute! Each of the Library Hotel's richly appointed luxury rooms are individually adorned with art and a collection of books that relate to the room's unique theme.

I'm definitely going to take advantage of the hotel's prime location (steps from the New York Public Library, Bryant Park, Pierpont Morgan Library, the exquisitely renovated Grand Central Terminal, the Times Square Theater District) to partake in aimless leisure strolls around the area.

I'm also looking forward to the hotel's long list of amenities and services, which includes:

-A lavish European style breakfast
-Selection of coffee, tea, juices, cookies and fruits throughout the day
-Prosecco, fine wines, imported and domestic cheeses, and hors d'oeuvres each evening
-Daily passes to the nearby New York Sports Club

It's no wonder TripAdvisor named it the winner of the Best Luxury Hotel in the United States!
