Art Los Angeles Contemporary (ALAC) Opening Night Reception

Last night I attended ALAC's red carpet reception to kick off this weekend's Art Los Angeles Contemporary fair. Held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, purveyors and curators of art congregated to view the amazing showcase of local contemporary art pieces from dozens of galleries. Although I'm not super knowledgeable about art, I definitely appreciate and admire the sense of beauty and self-expression that is derived from the creation of art, regardless of the art form.

Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka, members of ALAC.

Jane Seymour. She looked amazing and definitely "GILF" status. Yup, I'm pretty sure she's a grandmother

The talented Rachel Griffiths. In a sea of grey and black, she stood out in her stunning yellow sheath dress. She told me she felt like a giant lemon ball.

My favorite piece. I see a beautiful girl who seemingly has it all look so sad and alone

My clog among men.

You should definitely check out the fair this weekend. It was a very well-curated exhibit and I had a lovely time! Visit Art Los Angeles for more information.

What an amazing event. I like how Rachel Griffiths took a chance and wore a bright, cheerful color. I think she's incredible on Brothers & Sisters. I have the same black lace F21 skirt, and think you've styled it to perfection, complete with red lipstick and flowing locks. Cheers to fashion and art!

Your favorite is definitely mine, too. There's something so telling about that photo. A dialog without needing to say anything.

AND HOLY SHIT, you met NPH!
