I'm in Hong Kong for the next week!  Although I'm here on a work trip, I know I'll get to sneak in some shopping time.  After all, Hong Kong is the shopping mecca of the East and it would be absolutely sacrilege to not partake in mecca-worthy activities. =)

Report Signature Spring 2010 Sneak Peak

I was lucky enough to get an up close and personal sneak peak at Report Signature's Spring 2011 shoe collection.  I've always liked and followed the brand and equate its quality, style and price point to Pour La Victoire, Dolce Vita and Sam Edelman.

The Spring 2011 collection did not disappoint.  I like the juxtaposition between the neutral color palette and fun silhouettes which make the overall collection super versatile and shoe-appropriate for every occasion.

LA Fashion Week Pre-Party

LA Fashion Week starts this Friday!  I'm bummed I will be out of the country and won't be able to attend any of the shows but I did get a chance to get together with my local LA fashionistas at a pre-fashion week party last Thursday.  The party took place at the historic Figueroa Hotel in downtown LA and brought together a few of my favorite fashion insiders, bloggers and enthusiasts.

Jen Awad, a super talented, sweet and bubbly local LA designer was gracious enough to let me wear one of her fabulous Fall 2010 runway dresses to the party.  The scarlet red silk jersey dress with a sexy plunging neckline and rosette trim was absolutely breathtaking!  I couldn't bear to take it off at the end of the night!  You can check out her runway collections here: Jen Awad

Marc By Marc Jacobs Lil Mia Drawstring Bag-Bucket It!

I love adding splashes of red to my fall/winter outfits.  The color can make an otherwise neutral color palette pop with dramatic vibrancy.  This cute bucket drawstring bag from MJ is a standout.  Goldilocks would approve the not too big, not too small size.  Plus, the adjustable length allows the bag to fall effortlessly below the hips.

Beach Stripes-Personal Style Outfit of the Day

I wore this outfit to the beach last Sunday.  I wanted to wear something that was beachy casual but would keep me warm during the unpredictable fall weather. I usually don't like to wear pants or jeans as I find them to be too constricting.  However, I love these cargo pants from J Brand as they are super stretchy and moves instead of hinders. Can you believe the cropped striped sweater was on sale for only $2.99 at Forever21?

Butter London Nail Polish Now Available at Nordstrom.com!

This is huge news!  Butter London, an amazing line of luxury formaldehyde FREE, toluene FREE and DBP FREE nail polish is now available at nordstrom.com and select Nordstrom stores.  The pictures are inadequate and don't do the colors justice as each polish is saturated with pigmentation and shimmer goodness. Personal Style Outfit of the Day-Lady in Green

A photographer sent me this picture taken at party a few weeks ago.  I love the dress's sleeves as it can be twisted and molded into several different styles.  I still remember my crazed fervor when I first spotted these double-strap mary janes a few years ago.  In fact, these shoes put Miu Miu on my "shoedar."

Camilla Skovgaard Wedge Ankle Boots-Lust, Crave, Need

When I saw these ah-mazing boots on net-a-porter.com today, I realized I was staring into a slice of pure perfection.  I mean, they're the perfect fall/winter shoes.  The pair ingeniously combines several of the season's hottest trends (wedge boots, zig zag sole, covered platform) into the most buttery and luxurious little package.  Although a bit pricey at $530, it's worth the splurge to wear a piece of perfection this season.
