Love Me, Spoon Me, Eat Me

A few weeks ago, I dined at Wood Spoon with a couple of friends.  It's a relatively new restaurant in downtown LA and has a very cool and minimalist urban vibe.  Their signature dish is the chicken pot pie, which didn't hit it out of the ball park for me.  In fact, it reminded me of Marie Callender's chicken pot pie, available in the frozen section at Costco.

The pork burger, on the other hand, was delish!  The flavor was just right and the meat was soft and juicy.  I would definitely come back just for the burger.

In the midst of grubbing and talking, I spotted Whitney Thompson, past America's Next Top Model winner.  She was dining with a friend and looked absolutely fab!  She's much skinnier in person, and has great complexion and beautiful eyes.  I chatted with her for a bit and found out she now lives in LA and is launching her own jewelry line.  Go her!
